My cause

The cause that I'm most passionate about is bringing home the soldiers of the United States home from Iraq. Allowing those who can push our voice across, (Senators and Representatives) as we voice either or displeasure or support, to hear our opinions is the only way that the current administration can properly lead our democratic nation. This has been a very important issue worldwide, and I feel that the country would benefit far more from the removal of troops from Iraq than by their continued presence in the nation. With the internal problems that the United States is experiencing right now (economy, healthcare, leadership, etc.), it seems we should shift our focus inward and begin to do the things that will help ourselves the way that the current administration has claimed to try to help Iraq. This issue has greatly influenced my vote in the 2008 Presidential Election, as I feel that the war is an issue that will begin to settle the other troubles that the United States is experiencing.
